Broadcast or blast faxes are printed
information faxed to multiple recipients. North American
Network's fax distribution service is called a Daybreak
Fax. Daybreak Faxes, typically sent early to reach morning
show hosts and producers, can effectively publicize
survey results, product announcements and fun facts,
and can be used as an add-on to a NewsFeed to generate
additional interest.
The Daybreak Fax can be used as an
add-on to the NewsFeed service, or as a stand-alone
broadcast fax service to inform stations of news events.
Distribution is via broadcast fax to morning show and
talk show hosts and producers. Intended for on-air use,
the service takes advantage of radio's popular "rip
and read" technique of utilizing broadcast-ready
bullet point, did-you-know? and trivia copy. The service
includes creative, station and network targeting, transmission
of one page of copy, and a broadcast report.
The Daybreak Fax service includes placement
of fax scripts on RadioSpace.
The
U.S. Postal Service helped promote their new
stamp and audio availability with a Daybreak Fax
which reached thousands of radio outlets.
